October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and this year it is more important than ever. Mounting research is telling us that the pandemic is creating environments that limit access to resources for victims, and isolation is allowing domestic violence to flourish. Know the warning signs, and know that there are resources out there. https://www.thehotline.org//domestic-violence-awareness-m/... https://ncadv.org/take-action

Recently the Scientific Report of the 2020 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee to the Secretaries of USDA and HHS was released, and it changed the recommended daily drinking limit for men for the first time in a long time. IPPH hosts a SBIRT training that covers these guidelines every year, and since September is recovery month, we thought it was important to highlight safe drinking amounts. https://www.dietaryguidelines.gov/2020-advisory-committee-r
