Online nominations are now being accepted through April 16th. $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to 10 selected local student athletes this May. The Medals for Miles (MFM) Youth FUN RUN is a great way for kids to stay active and moving in the community! To complete the Medals for Miles program, students walk, run or roll a little (or a lot) each week to total 12 miles*. Kids are invited to complete their final 1.1 mile on Feb. 27th where they will receive their very own medal. __ Since 2008, the MFM program has been supported by local Board of Educations, teachers and parents as a platform to promote wellness and fitness to youth in our community. This program is FREE for all participants and is designed for elementary children K-6th grade. It is a FREE program, but registration is required! __ https://www.augustahalf.org/medals-for-miles
