God’s Plan | I grew up with very few images of lawyers that looked like me, whether in real life or on television. The tv series Matlock was the only visual ima...gery I had of what it meant to uphold the law and seek justice. 25+ years later, there have been so many trailblazers that have brought about tremendous change in the legal field, both in fact and fiction. Who knew I would be one of them?!!! God did! Trust His timing and His plan!! #ThankfulThursday #BlackHistoryMonth #Herstory Yours Truly Jasmyn Wright Yolanda Norman Rouse

Join us in celebrating Black History Month. Throughout the month we will be sharing details on local Black Americans who have had an impact in our community. So...me are well known, and others not so much. Feel free to share any that may come to mind with us. We are kicking the month off with Judge Amanda Heath and Judge Le'Joi Williamson. Both women have made history in their own right by becoming the first black women to be appointed as a juvenile court judge and and Richmond County civil and magistrate court judge respectively. Both of these ladies have been honored in Augusta Magazine's Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch in recent years.
