Wellness refers to complete health, rather than just your physical health. Wellness is not only being free of disease, illness, or stress but also having a purpose in life, being emotionally healthy, taking an active involvement in your work and in your leisure time, having joyful relationships and being happy. Wellness involves all aspects of your life beyond your physical health. To enjoy fulfilled and happy lives, it is important to take care of your well-being and to invest time in your wellness. https://jflowershealth.com/8-dimensions-of-wellness/
What’s your purpose in life? It’s a daunting question. But your answer may say a lot about your well-being. Studies link a sense of purpose to better physical and mental health. But your purpose isn’t just about you. According to researchers, a true purpose is one that is both personally meaningful and also makes a positive impact on the lives of other peopleyour family, friends, neighbors, city, country, or even the whole world.
Rejection Sensitivity is a symptom of Adult Attention Deficit Disorder that often goes unrecognized. RSD can create self esteem issues and relationship issues. Rejection sensitive dysphoria, or the extreme emotional pain linked to feelings of rejection and shame, commonly affects children and adults with ADHD.
When your child starts crying or your voice changes, then stop for the day. There are more important lessons to teach. Choose love.

Dear Clients, ALERT TO CLIENTS SEEN VIA TELE-MENTAL HEALTH With regards to Tele-mental health services and insurance coverage with Angela M Eells, LCSW, please know "some insurers" are ending coverage of Tele-mental Health, reinstating any copays / coinsurance that may have been waved during the pandemic and reverting to "pre-pandemic" benefits and coverage. With this, if you or your child are seen via Tele-mental health please contact your insurer to confirm Tele-mental he...alth services using our HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform (not the insurer's preferred platform) are covered and at what cost to you the member. As per signed Consents and Agreements in our office, any charges not covered by or denied by your insurer are the responsibility of you the client and charges will be billed to you. This may result in unexpected out of pocket expenses for services provided. To avoid this, we strongly encourage you to check with your insurer. To do so, please call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and request "outpatient, mental health benefits via Tele-health". You want to know if this benefit is still covered and if there is a termination / end date to this coverage. Once you have verified this with your insurer, please be sure to inform your therapist at your next appointment so we may make note and adjust should you need to return to "in office" appointments.

I am a proud social worker.
Acknowledging our trauma isn’t about staying in a victim mindset. It’s about extending compassion to ourselves so we can show up for the work and get to the root of our reactions.
Children have two buckets that need to be filled on a DAILY basis an attention bucket and a power bucket. If these buckets aren’t filled in positive ways, your child will start misbehaving to get what they need from you. This is ESPECIALLY true when kids feel they aren’t treated the same as their siblings. In their eyes, STRIKING up a sibling fight is one way they will be able to get the attention they crave. Most parents will try ANYTHING to get their kids to stop acting out nagging, reminding, and even yelling. But there are BETTER ways.
