You name it and I think that we have worked it over the last couple of months! 18 wheelers, dump trucks, BMW'S, HONDA, Got a lil ole 91 Mercury Capri convertible, Hurst, Land Rover, Hummer, Long bus Motorhome, We have an ambulance, dump truck, Saab, Nissan, Kia, Saturn, Infinity, & a John Deere Tractor right now! So as you can see GOD has blessed us richly as to allow us to have the extra hard work and drive ...to gain our knowledge! Knowing how to diagnose is the name of the game in the Auto Repair Business! We have learned this because it's always been Rick and I starting out with 500.00 in the bank to open our business meaning no big financial backers meaning we never had money to throw parts at one, no parts department to pull stuff out to try, electrical parts bought are yours so as you can see we had to learn how to diagnose if we wanted to eat as well as have return customers! People tend to get upset when they pay for parts that don't fix them! Now at the same time I shall not lie either, starting out and learning still to this day 30 years later I can not say that I have not bought something that did not fix it but believe me the customer does not pay for it and the vehicle come very high water will be fixed before it leaves! I have an 04 Ford F-150 in our shop for repair that has taken in a lot of water and the fuse panel is in the passenger front kick panel, well it filled it with water and ruined it! New these run close to 600.00 so of course I searched the local salvage yards but had no luck finding one! All of the salvage yards said that they get gone as soon as they have one! Well I should of known this because these year model trucks and Expeditions are common place for the internal EEC and... fuel pump relays causing shutting off and no start! The kicker is you can't just replace either relay without replacing box thru dealers!! But I am posting to let everyone know that replacing the fuse panel will fix it for a bit but that's a lot of money to shell out every time one of the relays burn out! We have been bypassing these relays along with the safety protected fused circuits and wiring them up with the same identical wiring, fuse rating and gauge of the wiring on a nice plate that we make to mount them on!! So the next time it starts giving problems all that will have to be done is replace the relay!! It's actually better this way and can carry more amperage!
