Last month we started the Feed The Heroes program after our friends , Todd and Linda Martinez, made a large purchase from Bagel Boys to donate food to our local essential workers. Your donations equaled to over 550 Dozen bagels delivered in our community! We have gone from NorthSide Forsyth down to Grady and from Kennestone to Emory John’s Creek and everywhere in between including assisted living facilities, UPS, FedEx, Home Depot’s, Costco’s, Sam’s, Publix, Kroger, Urgent Cares, Fire Stations, police stations, 911 operators and multiple vet. clinics. If you are an essential worker whose job has been impacted by this virus, chances are you have had our bagels delivered to your place of employment! Our owner, John Lamb, was interviewed on HLN this morning by Robin Meade about the challenges of operating our three stores in this environment. So far we have been able to continue operating the two Alpharetta stores from 7am-1pm every day, so if you are craving a fresh baked bagel or delicious hand made sandwich, please stop by. At the end of the interview, John was able to talk about our Feed Our Heroes program. To date, we've received over $7,000 in donations (update: ...over $8K now) that have enabled us to feed many of our front line heroes, including hospital staff, emergency responders, critical retail workers, 911 call centers and a host of other important local people.
