Thank you just isn’t enough! We are beyond grateful and thankful for each and every staff member and Bagget Bear family who pulled a bear from our Bear Tree. Thank you for supporting our precious students for the Holidays. A HUGE thank you to Poplar Springs Baptist Church for donating so many great toys, clothes, shoes, books, etc. Beacause of all of this support, 100% of the Bear Tree bears were pulled and the wishes were fulfilled. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
A teacher/staff member per house will be recognized by a house color HARD HAT for having the most "Blue Collar" work ethic each month. The idea is that our staff comes to work, does their job to the best of their ability, and works as hard as they can every day. This teacher/staff member sets the example for the rest of the staff. We want the symbol of the HARD HAT to represent our culture and what we stand for at Baggett while our "Success is Under Construction!" Congratulations Mrs. Plunkett~ (Alacris House) Mrs. Freeman ~ Blue (Cogito House) Mrs. Clark~ Green (Somniatis)
As many of you know this year we have Paulding Virtual Elementary Academy. Our students in 4th grade Ms. Collum’s class have been hard at work all semester long. We wanted to take a moment and highlight some of their outstanding Solar System Projects!

Friday, November 13, 2020 is marked on the PCSD website as Progress Reports Issued. However, because our students are assessed for understanding and mastery of standards throughout the 9 weeks and our grading window doesn't close until the end of the 9 weeks, you can access your child's grades at any time through Parent Portal. If you have not created your Parent Portal account, please do so by following the directions below. This will be how you can access your child's gr...ades, progress reports, and report cards as we, as a district, will not be sending home paper copies of progress reports and report cards. Please keep in mind that the standards assessed have many components. Teachers focus on small parts of the standard as they are teaching your child. As concepts get more difficult throughout the year, the grade may change from a 3 to a 2 until the child reaches mastery of the entire standard and all of the elements the standard assesses. If you ever have questions about your child's progress, please feel free to reach out to your child's teacher at any time. The Parent Portal in Infinite Campus is the easiest way for parents to stay connected to their student's educational progress. The Parent Portal gives you access to grades (including report cards), attendance information, progress reports, transcripts, and much more. Parents can also update their contact information if needed to ensure they receive timely communication from their schools and the school district. It's as simple as sending us an email. Please see the attached document for instructions, or visit this web site for more information: https://www.paulding.k12.ga.us/domain/4142 If you haven't signed up for Parent Portal, please register today!
We want to celebrate our Veterans! Remember your photos and information is due Monday November 9th.

In order to not miss the end of our RED Ribbon Week Celebrations, we are moving our last dress up day to Monday November 2nd, 2020!
This is an update on Tropical Storm Zeta’s impact on our school community. Our District currently has 13 schools and facilities without power, and we do not hav...e an estimated time of restoration due to the extent of storm damage. Therefore, schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, October 30th. The impact has been felt throughout our community where many homes continue without both power and cable/internet services. For that reason, digital learning is cancelled as well. Staff will not report to work. Local schools will update their communities regarding scheduled extra-curricular activities. Additionally, due to lack of power, the free meal pick up scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30 has been cancelled. An update will be provided next week.
Baggett Elementary wants to say Thank You to all those that are helping to keep us safe and restore power after all of the storms! We are so thankful for you all!
We hope this finds all of our families safe this morning. As we assess our schools and community impact, we understand that many in our county are experiencing ...power and internet outages. Therefore, digital learning is cancelled for today, Thursday, October 29th. Please stay safe, and we will communicate if there is any impact to school attendance Friday. See more
Due to school buildings being closed Thursday 10/29, the PSAT will be rescheduled. High schools will notify students/parents of reschedule date.
