NCHD health departments have started to administer booster doses to eligible individuals that received their Moderna or J&J #COVID19 vaccines, in addition to providing boosters for those that received Pfizer. For individuals that received Pfizer or Moderna, the following groups can get a booster 6 months after their 2nd dose: Age 65+ Age 18+ living in long-term care settings Age 18+ with underlying medical conditions... Age 18 + who work or live in a high-risk setting Anyone who received a dose of the J&J vaccine is eligible for a booster shot 2 months after their vaccination. In addition, CDC recommendations now allow for mixing vaccines as booster doses. For example: a person that received 2 doses of Pfizer can receive a Moderna booster 6 months after their 2nd Pfizer shot. A person that received a J&J shot can receive a Pfizer booster 2 months later. Use the schedule here to plan your visit to our no-appointment vaccine clinics. See more
