Went to see the musical "Footloose" today in Dalonega, GA... It was great...I really identified with it, being that when I a teenager in Worthington, PA.. I was a Baptist and we weren't allowed to dance (most folks who knew me knew how I loved to dance). It was worse for those kids in Beaumont, IL....it was against the law to dance! : ( Was glad it had a happy ending. Those of you who are familiar with my song "Whatever Happened to Nathanial Strong" will remember the lyrics start out: "We had church basement parties, 'cause dancin' was a sin; Home movies in the preacher's den replaced the ole drive in" .. My interview with KC Armstrong today @ 2 pm on Women's Radio Network went well. A few folks ddn't realize it was an internet radio station. A lot of radio stations are on the internet these days. Since I gave an internet URL... I guess I figured folks would know it was an internet station. A listener called in to the station to ask me how I stay focused! ; ) Good question... I'm not even sure! Up until recently, the pictures on that scroll on the main page of www.wr...nw1.com had people you'd know....like Al Pacino, Sharon Stone, Rod Steware, Morgan Freeman and just a few folks like me who are not household names that.everyone knows. although those known stars have been on the show in the past..they must have decided to have folks like me on the scroll who have been interviewed more recently.
