The Bibb County Sheriff's Office wanted to share these kinds words we received via Facebook messenger from Amanda Jones: This morning as I was pulling up to t...he Circle K on Forsyth St, an officer was pulling in at the same time. He got out to speak to a man standing in front of the store and I went inside to make my purchase. Apparently the man had been a nuisance at the store and an officer was requested to handle the issue. This could have gone any number of ways. As I was paying for my purchase, the officer and gentleman stepped inside the store. The officer informed the cashier he was going to pay for the man to get something to eat and drink and help him get to the bus station. A little compassion goes a long way. I didn’t get the officer's name or badge number, but just wanted you to know you have some outstanding deputies on your staff. Thank you, especially to this deputy this morning.
