It's with a very heavy heart that I announce the passing of K9 Cezar. After serving in the military, with 3 tours in Afghanistan, he served over 5 years with N...YPD Transit Canine. K9 Cezar was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, Hemangiosarcoma, a cancer that affects blood vessels. It was in his lungs, liver, and spleen. I would like to thank everyone for following his journey as an NYPD K9. And for always showing him love. He will never be forgotten and will be missed beyond words.
