I know this year has brought a lot of sickness and pain to many families, and we are all ready for the end of 2020 hoping for far better things in the years to ...come. BUT this year, God has been moving more in my life than I ever imagined He could. Around this time last year, my heart was anxious and unsettled. I knew God had something in store for me, but I couldn’t figure out what that was. In March, when quarantine started, I felt God’s calling even greater and finally found the direction He wanted me to go. Over the past several months, I have been amazed by Gods ability to work through me... through my heart, my mind and my hands. As many of you know already (because although I’m terrified to share, I also haven’t been able to keep what God has been doing a secret), I have written and published a book! Prayers of a Teacher’s Heart is a guide to praying over your heart, your students and your school. It’s a book of scriptures and prayers I need to hear and pray every single day as I head into my classroom. It’s what my teacher heart needs to stay strong and remember the reason for being a teacher and having a positive influence on my students. It’s the book I needed and I’m sure many other teachers need as well. So here it is! Actually I currently only have it in digital version right now because I’m still waiting on my paper copies in the mail, but it’s published! It’s officially out in the world. I can’t wait to share all of the details that went into creating this book, but for now, I just stand amazed in the fact that I have a book that I wrote in my hands. God can seriously do so much more than you could ever think and imagine. He is so good! ** I am currently taking preorders for my book, so let me know if you want a copy.
