BBCS 40 Year Celebration and Reunion! BBCS will host our 40 Year Celebration and Reunion January 1-2, 2021. This current year is the fortieth year since the founding of Bible Baptist Christian School by Dr. Norman Pyle in 1980. We will have 374 graduates by May 2020. We praise the Lord for all He has done for us! Our goal is to have a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on January 1 and a reunion banquet on Saturday, January 2, 2021. We will be reaching out to all graduates and ever...y teacher that ever served at BBCS to try to have as many students and staff members here as possible. Alumni Games Traditionally BBCS has hosted a guys and girls alumni game soon after the new year in order to allow interested college students who are recent graduates as well as more seasoned alumni to play. In recent years, our girls alumni turnout has been very minimal. We don't want to cut the girls alumni participation if there is a resurgent interest, but we need a rapid interest response so we can plan the best alumni activity for this year. Please respond to Coa...ch Prusak immediately if you are interested and able to participate on January 4 at 5:30 pm.. Thanks so much for your response before December 13, 2019. If we do not receive a strong enough response, we will still have alumni guys games, but will allow time for alumni groups to play against each other as well as for our current students to play alumni male graduates. I am planning a major BBCS 40th year celebration for either December 28-29, 2020 or January 1-2, 2021. The goal will be to have as many classes as possible schedule reunions here for those dates. I need your help choosing the best dates for the event. I want to form a committee to help with planning this event. I am thinking of a major 3-on-3 basketball tournament the first day permitting all graduates or anyone who attended BBCS in the past to form teams. Even faculty can ge...t involved along with our current BBCS basketball team. Either that evening or the next day we will host a banquet that features a video from past years. We want to share our goals for the future of BBCS during this event as well. That will also be my 35th year at BBCS. I would love to see as many of our students, former teachers, and families as possible. Allison Close Lundy has indicated she would be willing to help. Let me know if you can join us. Our beloved Chemistry teacher, Mr. Nething, passed away last year from his battle with cancer. Mr. Nething's testimony was amazing throughout his long battle. He kept a sweet spirit and always gave everything he had. He loved his God, his family, and science education. Follow the link below to help raise funds in honor of Matt Nething.
