PLEASE READ!!!! Our Children deserve our diligence! Last night was a great reminder that we must stay vigilant as parents! I needed the reminder as I don’t check our sons online activity as often as I should. I do have complete access to his Instagram account. Here’s the thing... what I’m about to share may be completely harmless BUT what if whoever this is, is actually an online predator?! Our son received a DM from someone claiming to be Jen Ledger the drummer from the ban...d Skillet. Logic kicked in... why would a public figure with almost 1/2 million followers DM our boy? Did a little mom investigating and sure enough it’s a fake account. We proceeded to report it and block it. Knowing the odds are not likely that she’ll ever see it I sent a DM to the real account of Ledger. Yes our kiddos get upset when we check their activities SO WHAT!
