Getting ready for the big night? From our ABA team, here are a few quick tips to help your trick or treater prepare: 1. Do a dress rehearsal! Practice wearing that costume several times before the big night. 2. Practice trick or treating with a friend or neighbor -- someone who is familiar to your child. If your kiddo is limited with speech, let them carry a fun card or sign that says trick or treat. ... 3. Trick or treating should be fun! Take it at your child’s pace and be prepared to call it a night when your kiddo has had enough. As always, it's all in the planning. Rehearsing ahead of time will help ease any jitters and add a little familiarity so everyone can have a spooktacular Halloween!
