People ask, what’s it like to be a surveyor? What’s it like to be a surveyor, well here goes... State of Georgia and Florida, been standing in swamps watching bears and laying out barrier gates at Cape Canaveral, stood next to a nuclear missile, been 200’ high on a platform on the brunswick mill, surveyed in the snow in north Georgia, been eaten up by hornets, sunk up to my neck in water, seen every animal/insect from A to Z, held everything from alligators to owls.... and that’s just the tip of the ice burg of what I can think of off hand..... , wouldn’t trade any of it for anything..... All I can say is that it’s the greatest job in the world.....

The red wing Blackbird, some of what we get to see every day, to us who get the privilege to call ourselves surveyors there is nothing other than people and nature, there are no biases, only a love for all things and all people who share this big old world...

Well that’s a pretty cool sight.....

We here at Bennett Surveying are still here for your needs, but our normal procedure is somewhat modified, we usually knock on your doors to let you know that we are on site but we will no longer do so...(please don’t shoot us) and please if you see us on site stay within the safety limits, we will gladly walk you around your property using the appropriate guidelines... but if our employees can help you in any other way we are there for you...
