Be Thou My Vision in... Trials Tribulation Triumph

The First Word in the Bible is the word In. Gen. 1:1 The Last Word in the Bible is the word Amen. Rev. 22:21 Jesus is called the Amen in Rev. 3:14. He is God’s Affirmation. In Jesus Christ, God says his Yes to us through his promises.... The Question is this- Are you In the Amen? In the sense, are you in the Truth, the Vine, the Body of the Amen? The Amen said... Rev. 22:13- I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. The Amen/Christ is also called the Word. To understand the Word from In to Amen is a Spiritual matter. 1 Cor. 2:10- But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 14.But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned Where do you see yourself in the Word? In the written word 2 groups are found, Sheep and Goats, Wheat and Tares, Lost and Found, Within and Without. Are you affirmed in the Amen? Have you been confirmed by the Spirit of the Amen/Spirit of Truth? 2 Peter 1:10...give diligence to make your calling and election sure... Amen.

God is still seeking true worshippers. Saints will He find us faithful Worshipping with... 1. His Manuscripts (His True Preserved Completed Word/From Handwritten to Hard Copy) 2. His Music (Spirit and Truth filled) 3. His Method (Praying, Praising & Preaching)... 4. His Message (His Whole Council, The Gospel) John 4:23- But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. John 4:24- God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth

You may have been taught many ideas and theories concerning the Coming of Christ and our gathering together unto him a.k.a The Rapture/Resurrection. This may or may not disturb your eschatological chart, but please reread 2 Thess. 2:1-4 2 Thess. 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2. That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as t...hat the day of Christ is at hand. 3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God Before Christ Returns/"Day of Christ" (our gathering together unto him/Rapture/Resurrection), Paul reminds the Church that 2 things must take place first. 1. Those who try to impress create an atmosphere of stress/distress Proverbs 29:25 - The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe. John 12:43 - For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.... God's remedy- James 4:10- Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Prov. 27:2- Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips. I am careful when it comes to recommending people these days, because so many people have an angle and hidden agendas not of God. Be faithful regardless the results, because He is faithful in the results. Jer. 7:27-Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee. Ezk. 3:7- But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.... Is. 55:11- So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Hindered Church vs. Healthy Church Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 2Thess 2:15-Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.... During your assembly time, you are experiencing either 1 of the 2 traditions Paul notes to these 2 churches. Check your traditions, do not take any man's word for what you or they are doing service after service. Find it in God's word. It's a blessed journey to liberation in truth ...and the truth shall make you free. Let no man decieve you by any means. Would you be considered a good Berean? Acts 17:11.... and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so By the Spirit of Truth, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find. James 1:5- If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

We are thankful unto God for the sweet atmosphere the Lord has graciously bestowed upon us at the Berean Baptist Church. Nothing forced nor fabricated. Led by His Spirit. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. A sense of home in HIS house as it has been told unto me after a service recently. I’m very thankful unto God for His Family. Eph. 3:14-15 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom t...he whole family in heaven and earth is named, Eph. 4:16-. From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Hindrances to Church Members Abounding or Bound? Ps. 44: 20- If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;... 21- Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart. 1. Buildings- Is a building your main attraction to your church membership? Has this taken precedence over your priorities when the dust has settled? Though buildings are beneficial and a blessing, they can also become a great hindrance to some. Let us remember the most important building that is on going, Christ’s Building. Does this attract you? Are you abounding or bound? Matt. 16:18 ... I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 1 Peter 2:5-Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 1 Thess. 5:11- Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. 2. Burial Plots- Do you continue to walk in and out of a building, because your focus is on a Person (Christ) or a plot? Though this can be a blessing on church property for God’s saints, I have experienced burial plots can become a great hindrance to people concerning their motives. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints. As Joseph’s bones were taken great care of to be moved from Egypt to Canaan, may we be mindful at the other end of the spectrum of idleness in our place of worship concerning the kingdom of God. Think upon Christ’s words Let the dead bury their dead. Are you abounding or bound? 3. Business- Is this a political move? Our fleshly actions affect others. Is this of Strategy or the Spirit? Pastors/Preachers, are you currently using your position as a stepping stone or look to do so in the future? Are you climbing an invisible ladder in your mind that is not of the Father’s Business? Would you preach to those same people if the building was falling apart or much smaller? Saint, is your church membership somewhere else, because you can’t for some reason be a part of the place you have been worshipping for some time? What Business is this? Have you forgotten the main business of God? Have you forgotten about the person and position of God? Let us all be mindful of His position as we see ours in Christ’s body? Let us Remember Christ’s words as a 12 year old boy, I must be about my Father's business. Are you abounding or bound? Though these 3 thoughts were painted with a broad brush, it is God that searcheth out the secrets of the heart. The next time church member you walk into the place of assembly, ask yourself why am I here, because God already knows why you are. May we all be sanctified for his glory and have right motives. Ps. 44: 20- If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god; 21- Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart In Christ, Bro.
