Hi everyone. Just an update for those that was not at church yesterday. We have suspended services (as for now) untill the first weekend in April due to of course the coronavirus (this could change due to the information released this morning). As many churches are doing as well as schools and other organizations, we feel this is the best thing to do as well as heeding the advice of the CDC and government officials. VBS kicks off tomorrow. Registration starts at 6:00 PM and our VBS will run from the 11th through the 13th from 6 to 9 with our commencement service Sunday at 11:00 AM. Hope to see you there.

The church today has many good and helpful programs, and I’m thankful for them. But if we are not careful we can lose sight of the vital importance of evangelism. Nothing can substitute for it. Nothing can be allowed to crowd it out or diminish it. Jesus said, And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd (John 10:16). We must be diligent about reaching the lost with the gospel before it is too late. Paul Chappell
