I am 1 in 4. Statistics show 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage, which is a reality for me. Since November of 2018 I have experienced two painful miscarriage...s. The wounds that miscarriages bring to a woman is something that time cannot heal. There are no words that can make it better. We just find the strength to move forward each month. Yes, life goes on but the thought of what could have been does remain. However, I hold on to hope like so many other women who have suffered a miscarriage or few. Today, October 15, is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, a day meant to show support, educate, and create awareness for those who are suffering or may know someone who has suffered a miscarriage, a still birth, or the loss of an infant. Show some love to someone today and lift them up in prayer when they cross your mind. It's life-shattering to lose a child, no matter at 6 weeks, 9 months, or at birth.

"World Mental Health Day" Greetings, I hope all is well with you and your family on this day.... Sometimes the common theme is where can someone access mental health support (individual, couples and family therapy). If you have children in elementary, middle or high school. You can speak to the professional school counselor and/or the school social worker. They can provide you with a list of mental health professionals in your area. You can access your employee assistance program EAP which is a part of your benefits. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card. If you are in college. You can go to the student health services center. Here are a few websites you can also access mental health professionals for support. https://therapyforblackmen.org https://www.therapyforblackgirls.com https://mytrucircle.com https://www.psychologytoday.com https://instagram.com/counselingbrothersof www.TheSutherlandCenter.com These are a few ways anyone can access mental health support. Respectfully,

A quote from Carmen Cool Transcript: "The goal of therapy should never be to help people adjust to oppression."
