Saturday, October 7 is time for the RAMBO Fall Family Festival at Big Creek Park in Roswell. We hold this in conjunction with National Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day and offer a day of fun, family, food and mountain biking. It’s RAMBO’s time to give back to the great biking community in Roswell, Alpharetta and Forsyth County. We hold a number of fun events during the festival like a Kid’s Skills Clinic, Pump Track time trials, kid’s MTB time trial and much more. We start the event at 9:00 AM and finish up by 3:00 PM. RAMBO provides lunch for all (supplied by RAMBO expert chefs using our party grill).

September 23 & 24 BIG CREEK TRAIL CLOSURE NOTICE THIS SATURDAY and SUNDAY Georgia Tech College Mountain Bike Races this Saturday and Sunday (September 23 and 24) at Big Creek. The MTB and Free Ride Trails will be CLOSED and only open to competitors. The Free Ride area will be open Sunday. Spectators are welcome and you can offer to volunteer as well.

For those folks that can attend the Big Creek Trail clean-up this Saturday morning our friends at Atlanta Cycling will give each volunteer a $20 gift card that can be used to purchase merchandise in their stores. Please bring your gloves and any rakes or loppers or cutting devices you may have to help remove limbs and foliage down on the trail. There are approximately 20 down trees on the trail.

Are you new to mountain biking? RAMBO is hosting a beginner / Family social Mountain Bike ride at Big Creek Park this Saturday (4/1) at 10:00 AM. RAMBO Experts will host a fun social ride for new MTB riders and families at Big Creek MTB Park. All skill levels are welcome, but this ride is geared for beginners. RAMBO is hosting the first in a series of monthly rides geared for riders that are new to Mountain Biking, but want a safe environment to develop the skills to get out... on the mountain bike trails and have fun. We will begin with a rider meeting to discuss mountain biking etiquette, how to ride trails safely, how to prepare your bike for a ride. Experienced riders will take the group on a fun, easy going ride on the green trails in Big Creek Park. Meet at the trail entrance in the top parking lot at Big Creek Park at 10:00 AM this Saturday.
