Sad to learn that the Bike South store will be closing. What do y'all reckon will become of the Tuesday night ride? What would you like to see?

PSA: The Bike South ride meets Tuesdays at 6:30 in the Bike South parking lot, but the ride is not run by anyone from the store. These days, there are typically 8-10 riders on the ride, and it is a series of hard intervals. There are some regrouping opportunities, and there's a short cut on the "lolypop" section.... This ride is recommended for intermediate to advanced riders who are OK with holding speeds in the low-to-mid 20s and surging to 30-32mph. Posting this because there was some misinformation posted about the ride on the Medlock Neighborhood page. Don't want anyone to show up with the wrong expectations.

Bike South 3/19 - two options: 6:15pm - moderate pace 6:30pm - standard BS interval pace... It sounds like the 6:15 option might be a regular thing, so show up and support it if you're interested.

How about trying something new? There’s always a conversation going on about what the best way to be in touch with what rides are happening around town. There are facebook groups, e-mails, and all that. A lot of people miss out on the facebook stuff because they’ve opted out of facebook for data/privacy reasons. Given that Slack has replaced e-mail in many workplaces, I thought why not start up a slack presence for the ATL riding community and see where that goes.
