What an incredible morning serving those that serve our community. Backpack Buddies of Georgia has risen to the call in response to the Covid-19 situation. April Watson Anderson, Lori Burnett, and Nicole Vaudo McNutt have hearts of Gold and a simple desire to serve others. Each week volunteers across our community are making a difference. The donations that provide the means to provide over 1,400 bags of food for children in our neighbors are being provided. The endless numbe...r of hours that volunteers provide each week to ensure the food is purchased, packed, and delivered to our kids in need. It was my honor to serve those that serve others. Passing out gift cards to the volunteers was such a blast. They didn't know how to be the beneficiary of kindness as they are so comfortable being the person who is kind. They are heroes in my book! I want to encourage others to get involved. My intention was to be a blessing to them, but I left feeling they blessed me more than I could ever imagine. Thanks Again for job well done!
