A few more jerkbait fish from this weekend !!!

Bill Payne Guide Service 26.03.2021

Warmer temps with warming rains have pushed fish shallow. Today the largemouth moved up and we were able smash a huge bag !!! I’ve been waiting for this and I thought it would happen earlier this week but today was the day. I don’t really know that it can get better than today but, generally, fishing should improve overall in the coming days. I have open days coming up and if you want to sample the pre-spawn bite, call me at 706-280-2305 and we’ll get after them. #daltonmarin...e #mercurymarine #PicassoLures #relionbatteries #FishShimano #fishgloomis #dugoutbaitandtackle #sunlineamerica #rangerboats #bassboattechnologies #simms See more

Sometimes the bass are rubbing their belly on the muddy bottom even in 60 ft.

Probably not a surprise to most of you, but today was an exceptionally good day on Allatoona. The bite really fired up with multiple shallow patterns working. One of my friends caught a 7 lb largemouth today and, as usual, we only caught spotted bass....lol. Even so, it was a great time as we caught over 30 and that was with a late start. With continued warming, it’s only going to get better !!!!! Call me at 706-280-2305 to join me in the action !!!!

Fishing on Carters has been a little up and down over the last few days. We’ve experienced some good days and at least one day not so good. If it wasn’t sometimes a challenge, I’m not sure we would want to do it. Here are pics from our last day on the water before the stomach virus hit the Payne household. We’ll be back at it in a couple more days !!!! Winter is still the best time on Carters Lake.
