Thanks to Joseph Lowery I had a great mentor and pastor to admire and model myself after. Thanks to Joseph Lowery I had opportunities to preach. Thanks to Joseph Lowery I am not afraid of public speaking. Thanks to Joseph Lowery I am a proud Black man. Thanks to Joseph Lowery I was exposed to the Gospel of Grace. Thanks to Joseph Lowery I was baptized by the Holy Spirit. Thanks to Joseph Lowery I was exposed to the Gospel of Social Justice. Thanks to Joseph Lowery I have the courage to speak my truth. Thanks to Joseph Lowery I know the value of respect in marriage. Thanks to Joseph Lowery there is one less Confederate Soldier’s name I have to see when driving on I-20. Thanks to Joseph Lowery we are all closer to that day when black will not be asked to get back, when brown can stick around, when yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead man; and when white will embrace what is right. Over the past year, my wife and I have traveled the world, gone dining, dancing, enjoyed warm emotional intimacy, passionate satisfying sex, and being the best ...of friends.
