It was an absolute dream being able to meet @mikey_putnam + @darrochputnam of @putnamflowers this past week. And too much fun competing in the Iron Florist Competition (PS: congrats @ashlyemccormick! ) Being able to watch the Putnams’ live flower demos and hear their stories of beginning a dream in their apartment to creating the most amazing flowers for events around the globe was phenomenal. Their keen eye for the editorial look and their insanely sweet personalities had m...e falling more in love with them more than I already was. #fangirl Mikey & Darroch: Thank y’all for coming down to the @cathedralantiques show and gifting us with knowledge, inspiration and kindness and have fun in Bosnia, boys! This is me, designing a bridal bouquet for my younger sister. It’s such a beautiful thing: to know and love someone since before they came into the world. Being so excited to have a little sister. And to then watch her grow from sweet toddler to a lovely teen. She has the quirky confidence of Phoebe Buffay combined with a strong will and loving heart. I’ve created many bouquets, but this one is the most special thus far. For many obvious reasons. It’s so fun to watch someone... fall in love. To get her phone calls telling me she has a crush on a cute tall blonde boy, to sending me videos of love songs he’s written and singing to her, to having her FaceTime me to announce her engagement from the beach. It’s been such a fun whirlwind to watch and I am so happy to have gained a brother. Such a special day. Congrats Leah Pline + Jacob Pline I wish you all the best life has to offer. I love you. I hope there is something that you can create for someone you love, a person that feels like an extension of your heart in motion.
