So apparently we've offended someone on Next Door... But, in case you missed it, we have a sticker on our door that states we support Free Speech. Book exchange. To the 3 ladies at the book exchange.....thank you for LOUDLY discussing your political views. I so enjoyed not being able to even read book jackets due to all the talking. Even better was listening to how YOU have all the facts & know how to make better decisions for millions of people. We all have differing politi...cal views......we all Like to play Monday morning quarterback. A quiet neighborhood bookstore is not the place to discuss it LOUDLY. Too bad for book exchange........the thrift store down the street got my business instead......14 books! Could have been you book exchange! I was not here, but from what I've been told, one of our customers who is a nurse was discussing the difficulty of getting PPE. I guess that was too political. Discussion is healthy, and while I may not agree with what is said, I defend your right to say it. And honestly, rarely is our store quiet, we talk, we interact, we discuss, we're a community, you can choose to be a part of that community, or not but that choice is up to you. We welcome everyone.
