Families and Friends, We know you have a lot of questions and we have been giving your trainees as much information as possible so we hope it has been getting to you. We would like take a moment to address some of the bigger broader questions. ... 1. There will not be a turning blue ceremony as this ceremony is conducted as a chance for you all to put your Infantry Soldiers Infantry Blue cord on. These will instead be presented by their Drill Sergeants and we will post some pictures afterwards. 2. Graduation will be at 1000 am eastern standard time on December 18th 2020 and is still CLOSED TO ALL VISITORS. It will be live streamed and we will post a link as an outside agency is going to be providing video services to improve quality. That being said due to the contract with them if you do not see the live stream as it happens you will have to purchase it from this agency to view it and we will not be able to post it to our page. 3. Immediately following graduation all Soldiers who elected to will be going on leave and those not attending a follow on school here at Fort Benning will go to their first unit after leave, National Guard not attending a follow on school here at Fort Benning will report to their unit and those (Active and Guard) attending a school will return here. 4. Soldiers flying will be transported to the Atlanta airport by bus and we are still working through the issues with the buses. 5. Soldiers who are not flying and are being picked up by a family member can be picked up at the National Infantry Museum at 1200 pm (noon) eastern standard time on that same day. This location is off of Fort Benning and does not require a military ID card or visitors pass and can be found on any navigation application. Thank you for your continued support.
