Briarcliff UMC and Embry Hills UMC will be offering a joint Lenten Study based on the Cokesbury curriculum Embracing the Uncertain: A Lenten Study for Unsteady Times. In these sessions we will look at what some of the stories of Jesus tell us about God’s love and call in times when things seem chaotic and unsettled both personally and in the larger world around us. The study will meet in the Briarcliff UMC Fellowship Hall at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons beginning this Sunday, February 18 and continuing through Palm Sunday, March 25. Please join us this Thursday, January 25th for our BUMS Lunch in the Fellowship Hall at 11:45 am! We will enjoy food catered by the Oak Grove Market and our presentation will be a musical performance from our church administrator Tyler Goforth. He will be performing a mix of original songs and cover tunes and presenting the stories behind his music. Please call the office at 404-321-3854 for reservations.

Briarcliff UMC, Philadelphia UMC, and other volunteers served many friends at Trinity Table this past Sunday, January 7th. We were able to provide coats, socks, toiletries and delicious chili and sandwiches to over 167 friends in Atlanta. Thank you to the 40+ volunteers that prepared food and volunteered to attend our annual service to the homeless. What a great way to start 2018 by helping others! God is good!

Contribute 2 America is collecting canned goods and non-perishable foods to help families in our communities. We're receiving donations until Friday, December 15th. Please drop off any food including but not limited to cereal, tuna, noodles, canned vegetables and more at the church office or in the barrel in the Fellowship Hall.
