The Account Manager position is responsible for providing continuous service to a select unit of clients. Through servicing, develop a thorough knowledge of the accounts, becoming a liaison between the client and the other departments within your agency. Depending on the applicant the role is a excellent opportunity for someone who is newer to insurance or someone who has been in the industry for a few years. If you are interested please apply to see if it is a good fit for b...oth of us. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: 1. Review and implement processing procedures in order to: a. Incorporate the capabilities of the systems into your daily work flow b. Streamline your workflow. 2. Follow agency procedures for processing: a. New Business b. Renewals c. Endorsements d. Cancellations e. Audits f. Billing/Financing g. Certificates/EPI/Schedules of Insurance h. Payments i. Quotes j. Claims 3. Broadly participates in the retention and growth of the assigned book of business. 4. Maintain a current knowledge of insurance coverages and exposures and their available markets. Participate in continuing education. 5. Review expiration list with Producers/Marketing 90 days in advance of expiration and assist Agent as necessary. 6. Review applications and policies to identify and target new business lines for existing insured’s, cross sell. 7. Research and answer insured’s questions regarding coverages in a timely manner. 8. Direct contact with existing accounts regarding questions or changes to existing coverage needs.
