Unarmed Security Officer Description of Duties Maintains security and safety for assigned area Interfaces with employees and visitors to enforce rules and protect assets... Maintains working knowledge of the site security protocols including CCTV, access control technology, and the fire panel alarm systems Checks for suspicious occurrences, and enforces site rules and policies Maintains daily activity logs (DAL) and records of occurrences, completes necessary incident reports, and may use computer terminal to input and retrieve data All other duties as assigned Knowledge and skill requirements: Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D, be able to read and write in order to review and complete required incident reports Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid vehicle operator’s permit or license Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Must be flexible to work any shift that includes some nights and weekends.
