Hi friends! I'd like to invite all of you to a great event coming up on Friday November 13: Buckhead Jaycees Casino Night benefiting MDA's "Night of Hope" for ALS Research. The event is at The Ivy Upstairs on 11/13 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. It's $30 in advance and $40 at the door. This price includes $10K in gambling chips, 2 raffle tickets and 2 drink tickets. ... All of the proceeds go to ALS research! If you don't know much about ALS, it's a very scary disease. Unfortunately, I have witnessed a close family friend lose his fight to ALS, taking away a strong, funny and incredible man's ability to walk, talk, and eventually breathe. And this disease is also one that's extremely difficult on entire families -- mentally, physically and financially. MDA is making some extraordinary research breakthroughs in the effort to fight and find a cure for ALS - including new therapies and treatments. So if you need an excuse to come party at the Ivy like old times, just know that your money is going to a great cause :)
