Cameron Weeks moved to Savannah recently for U.S. Coast Guard Southeast. I met Cameron a couple of weeks ago when him and a few of his buddies ran out of gas and ended up at the end of our docks. He mentioned he wanted to buy a boat and learn how to dial in on the local inshore species... We got 'Coast-Guard Cam" set up with all he needed to bring fish to hand. After using some advice he picked up from us, he found a school of trout on his first outing. ... We pride ourselves on putting folks on fish. Ever had the urge to look for fossils and treasures along the Savannah coast? Monday, a lady came down from Charleston to try her luck. She told us that she had been looking for a few years, and one of the top things on her bucket list to do before she died was to find a nice Megaladon Shark tooth! After a brief chat, her confidence was boosted and her excitement grew with each passing second before departure. As soon as she stepped off the boat, she looked down to see thi...s beautiful Megalodon tooth exposed in the sand... Almost as if it had been placed there just for her! Some things are just meant to be. Come try your luck... or 'fate' y'all!

Ben Lewis swung by this morning for some fresh live shrimp and we chatted some before he headed out... We discussed how thick the fog was and his game plan for the day. Once the fog lifted he stayed on a hot trout bite. Ben managed to put 6 in the box, the largest just shy of 19 inches. He's one heck of an angler, and we look forward to seeing what he'll bring across our dock as the temps drop! Congrats bud!
