Here is her story- About 5 years ago, I was in great shape. My husband and I were living in Germany, exercising, eating right and traveling all the time. In 2015, I had my first son and my second in 2018. I didn’t gain a lot of weight with either of my pregnancies. It was the first couple years of both of their lives that took a toll on me. Neither of my boys slept for at least the first 18 months, and they both had colic and cried ALL the time. I was never sleeping, which led to me eating poorly, not exercising, and drinking too much wine. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I knew what I should be doing but wasn’t taking good care of myself. While living overseas, we had completely unreliable and inconsistent childcare, which was just unsustainable long-term while both my husband and I were working full time. Somehow during this time, I managed to get a couple of promotions and I now manage a worldwide program with sites around the world, and I also went back to school to get my second Master’s, so I have a pretty hectic schedule. Our family moved back to the US in late 2019. The first time I came to Burn, I hurt my knee probably because I was so out of shape. I was so sore for 2 weeks, but I kept coming back after my knee recovered from my first injury. Since then, I have gotten back to healthy eating with the help of the trainers and even look forward to the workouts, most of the time. I am almost to my goal weight and plan to set new goals once I get there! #burn #fitmoms #burnbootcamp #newyear #sameme #bleedlbue #transformationtuesday
