Did you know today is NATIONAL CAT DAY? Well we’ve got a cat, or more , just waiting for you! We’ve got tall ones, short ones, floofy ones, orange, brown, black, white, and gray ones, serious ones, silly ones, young ones and mature ones.... if you can dream it, we’ve got the perfect one ready and waiting for adoption for only $40! And if you love cats, but not ready to adopt, two of our very own dedicated cat volunteers have a fundraiser going for the vetting costs ...of even more of our homeless and abandoned felines. Won’t you spread the word, or better yet donate to help them meet their current goal of $800? The Fundraiser ends tomorrow night October 30th, and only $155 left to go! These funds are going directly to care of cats here at the shelter. To all of you who have donated already.... THANK YOU! These volunteers use there own time, and transportation costs to get the kitties to and from their appointments themselves, so the fundraiser is for medical costs only! We will be posting post-vetting pictures of all the felines that this fundraiser is helping, so be sure to watch for updates! Just a nermal day lately here at Butts County Animal Control. Our sweet siblings Nermal and Nooner adopted together today, not long after their sister Lunar was adopted the other day! Such great news! Share the news that we’ve got some GREAT kitties! Happy lives sweet babies!

And the good news continues! Sweet Logan was adopted by his new mom today, and gets to go to his furever home! Woohoo!

These kinds of posts are our favorite. We’ve had a busy few days, and for a good reason why we are late posting several wonderful, and happy adoptions!! Sweet kittens Lunar and Louie each found their new families on Saturday, and today sweet Heyday found hers! There are hours of fun to come for both the kittens and their new families! All kittens received their first vaccination, flea and worm medicines thanks to the staff and volunteers who keep these babies happy and hea...lthy, and ready for adoption! In addition to the kittens. we are so happy to announce two of our friendly, furry, and fixed felines from our Free Roaming room, also found their very own families to go home to. Adorable Ms. Dolly Purkins was adopted Saturday, and today Sir Little Bit got his ride home. Both Dolly and Little Bit were fuly vetted, which included spay/neuter, vaccines, and combo tested, all because of generous donations to our Butts County Cat Fund! Every penny helps us to keep our Fixed and Fabulous program going, giving these sweet babies an opportunity to wait for their families outside of a metal cage!!! Thank you to ALL of our contributors!

Oh our DARLING Darla was also adopted today! This beautiful girl was in our Free Roaming room just waiting for her perfect someone to come and whisk her away to her furever home, and today was her day! Darla was able to wait her adoption day outside of a metal cage, and in our Free Roaming room, where she could strut and show herself off to potential adopters. Thanks to very generous donors to Winging Cat Rescue, Darla was spayed, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed and de-flead, along with a microchipped in preparation for this day. Come on over to Butts County Animal Control and find your new friend and companion! It’s snuggle weather!

Woohoo Wentworth and Kara Michelle get to live happily furever together in their new home!!! Thank you Winging Cat Reacue and donors to Butts County Animal Conttol! All donations help our county’s abandoned kitties find new loving families like this! Donations can be mailed or dropped off to our Kitty Fund donation box at Butts County Animal Control. Our volunteers Juli Price and Hunter Jones also have online FB fundraisers going if you’d prefer to donate online.
