The City of Powder Springs is echoing Gov. Brian Kemp’s message Thursday for schools and daycares to consider closing for two weeks if they deem it prudent due ...to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Closures are not being mandated by the state at this time, nor is the city enacting any mandate against school or daycare facilities. Parents should communicate with providers of these services for the latest information on potential closures or other measures. Cobb County Schools announced Thursday that it will close Monday, March 16, until further notice.
