Rich Toward God. TODAY'S READING 1Timothy 6:5-11 ... Godliness with contentment is great gain. 1Timothy 6:6 Paul gave this advice to Timothy, the young pastor of the city of Ephesus, a wealthy city where riches tempted all. "The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil." Paul warned, " Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many grief" (v.10) What, then, is the antidote to greed? Being " rich toward God," said Jesus (see Luke 12:13-21). By pursuing, appreciating, and loving our heavenly Father above all, He remains our chief delight. As the psalmist wrote, "Satisfy us in the morning with Your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. (Psalm 90:14) Rejoicing in Him daily relieves us of converting, leaving us contented. May Jesus redeem our hearts desires, making us rich toward God! AMEN. AMEN IN JESUS NAME AMEN. How have you mishandled money, or made it more than it ought to be? How might you give your financial concerns to God this day? SATIFY US IN THE MORNING, GOD, WITH YOUR UNFAILING LOVE-REPLACING OUR GREED WITH HOLY HUNGER FOR YOU.

Hey guys and gals we have been informed that someone who attended last Sunday's service has since been diagnosed with Covid. No one in our regular congregation has reported any symptoms, however, we felt to be cautious we should notify our members so they can decide if they want to stay home or not. We have already spoke with Bro. Caryl and he and Vesta will be there Sunday. Services are as normal for Wednesday night. The Youth will be having their St. Patrick's Bowl at 6:30 pm. Adults and kiddos at 7pm.

His Plans or Ours? TODAY'S READING 1Chronicles 17:1-20... Who am I, Lord God, that you have brought me this far 1Chronicles 17:16 Its normal to be disappointed when God's timing and design for our lives do not match our expectations. When David wanted to build the Lord's Temple, he had the right motives the leadership ability, and the resources. Yet God said he could not undertake the project because he had killed too many people in battle (1Chronicles 22:8). David could have shaken his fist at the sky in anger. He could have pouted and plowed with his own plans. But he humbly said, "Who am I, Lord God ... that You have brought me this far?" (17:16). David went on to praise God and affirm his devotion to Him. He valued his relationship with God more than his ambition. AMEN. AMEN IN JESUS NAME AMEN. What is more important - achieving our hopes and dreams, or our love for God. Dear heavenly Father, I commit all of my plans to You. Thank You for bringing me this far. You mean more to me than anything in the world. TRUE SATISFACTION IS FOUND IN YIELDING OURSELVES TO THE WILL OF GOD.

More than Water TODAY'S READING Galatians 3:23-29 ... All of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ..Galatians 3:27 Why should we think about baptism? When a person is baptized, there's so much more to it than water .Baptism symbolizes how through faith in Jesus, we've be"clothed" with Him (Galatians 3:27). Or in other words, it's celebrating that we belong to Him and that He lives in and through us. As if that weren't significant enough, the passage tells us that we've been clothed with Christ our identity is found in Him. We're the very children of God (v.26). As such, we've been made right with God by faith- not by following the Old Testament law (vv.23-25). We're not divided against one another by gender, culture, and status. We're set free and bought into unity through Christ and are now His own (v.29). So there are very good reasons to remember baptism and all it represents. We aren't simply focusing on the act itself but that we belong to Jesus and have become children of God. Our identity, future, and spiritual freedom are found in Him. AMEN. AMEN IN JESUS NAME AMEN. What does it mean to be clothed with Christ and to belong Him? What are ways you can regularly celebrate and remember the meaning of baptism? GOD, HELP ME TO NEVER FORGET THAT THROUGH JESUS I AM A CHILD OF GOD!

TODAY'S READING Colossians 3:12-17 Put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering ,...but above all these things put on love- Colossians 3:12,14 Scripture often calls us to" put on" attitudes and actions that match our identity in Christ. Sometimes we are known by the clothes we wear, but we can make Jesus known by wearing attitudes and actions that reveal His presence in our lives. The apostle Paul advised us to set the fashion standard by modeling the w...ardrobe of Jesus' compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, and forgiveness (Col.3:12). And he added, "above all these things put on love....And let the peace of God rule in your heart's "(vv.14-15). Clothing ourselves in Jesus' likeness begins with spending time with Him. If you hear Him say, "You can't go out like that!" let Him lovingly take you back to the closet so He can clothe you with His likeness. It's always an upgrade. AMEN. AMEN IN JESUS NAME AMEN. Lord, help us to see ourselves the way You see us. By Your Spirit teach us to adorn our lives with attitudes and actions You have designed for us as a public statement about our identity with You. CLOTHING OURSELVES WITH JESUS' ATTITUDES AND ACTIONS SHOWS HIS PRESENCE IN OUR LIVES.
