We are saving you a seat at CUMC! Please join us this Sunday for worship. In The Warehouse, our youth band will be providing the music for the service at 9:00, and our traditional service begins at 11:00 in the sanctuary. See you Sunday!

Last night at CUMC small group we finished our series lost and found with the continuation of the prodigal son story from Luke 15. We began with a game where they tasted bitter foods and tried to guess what it was. We discussed how the older brother in the story was bitter that his brother was welcomed home with open arms. We were reminded not to be consumed by bitterness in our own lives. Don’t stay outside sulking, but join the party! Just like in the story, when lost people are found, it’s always worth celebrating! We learned in the parables we have discussed the last few weeks that God notices you. God values you. God always welcomes you back.

Tonight our children learned all about The Last Supper and the symbolism of communion. Please join us next Wednesday!

We are looking forward to our Easter Sunday services and events on April 4, 2021. We will have a Sunrise Service at 7am, the Warehouse Service at 9am, an Easter Egg Hunt + Breakfast + Family Pictures taken by Ginna Waters at 10am, and a Traditional Service at 11am. This morning at The Warehouse, Mrs. Patsy Ford presented Andrea and Cody Gainous and Rick Waters with the Quiet Disciple award on behalf of the United Methodist Women. This is presented to people who not only listen to God, but also do His work. We appreciate all these 3 church members do for our church and community daily. Also, David Moye shared with us from John 2:13-22. Have a good week everyone!
