Florida BASS Nation High School stop in Sneads, FL (Lake Seminole) 6-7 March 2021! We found the fish in practice on Thursday and were on a winning pattern, but couldn’t make the magic happen over the weekend. Saturday’s haul resulted in 3 fish weighing 7.93 lbs (41st place out of 106 boats) and Sunday produced 2 keepers for 4.43 lbs (47th place out of 106 boats). BASS Nation shot at qualifying for Nationals fell a little short on the Harris Chain (Leesburg). Harley and Brooke worked hard for a limit weighing 8.14 lbs! Unfortunately we had a long line at the locks coming back to weigh in and showed up 3 minutes late. Lake Okeechobee FL BASS Nation Jr/HS event 6 & 7 February 2021. Brooke and Harley fished hard Saturday coming up empty handed, but Sunday offered better results with 5 fish for 9.68 lbs. Harley had a couple giants come unpinned that would have placed them near the top, but that’s the nature of the game! Always fun fishing with these two and watching them improve! Final results for the Harris Chain are in! Team Collins of LaBelle High School fished hard and caught some good bass. Saturday yielded 2 keepers for 5.51 lbs and Sunday dealt us 3 keepers for 2.09 lbs (2 lb penalty for 2 short fish **see weigh in vid**). Will get them next time on the St. John’s (Palatka)!

Tournament results from Lake Seminole last weekend (10/31 and 11/1). Harley and Brooke found some good fish on a very tough pattern with very few bites. They finished 62nd (1 fish/2.31 lbs) on Saturday and 60th (1 fish/3.12 lbs) on Sunday out of 105 boats. These kids are grinders and it is a real pleasure to watch them grow in the sport! Had a blast fishing the first Savannah River Elite Anglers (SREA) Tournament with Scott Hendley! This was the first one of the season and our first time participating in this event. New water (Burton’s Ferry) is always fun to figure out and we found some fish! We came in with 8.57 lbs and finished in the middle of the pack.
