Carpentry 101 LLC

Looking to hire someone who has the ability to read a tape measure and use a compound miter saw. Pretty much the ability to work without directions.

In the mist of all the trims that were on us these past two weeks, we still managed to install 500 ft of board on board and I am tired. A little side note. We mixed every bag of concrete and scooped it into the holes. No dry bagging here. Then we screwed all the rails instead of nailing them.

Update. So instead of use the stain we were planning to use, Last minutely we decided to go bright white to reflect the natural light. Also it plays of the spuce countertops better with the morning shadow gray walls. We still haven’t decided on lighting yet nor a cooktop. We’re possibly going with a beaded wainscot to pull the back splash around the room. By the next update, all will be done.

I wasn’t going to post this until after we were finished, this is going to be an awesome Kitchen renovation. Removing the pantry and moving the frig into that space, allowing the cabinets to go around the corner up to the window. A simple window seat under it. The an island to divide the living rm. Adding a cook top w/ a stainless vent above. A double oven. A cooler under counter. And we are turning the existing island so that the sink backs up the double oven, while re- centering it in the rm. Then new lighting. A kitchen with room to entertain. So this is just a preview.

This has been a great year for Carpentry 101, my wife and I. We have took on 45 interior trims ( of which 5 we went in and finished for 2 other trim companies), among other home improvements, repairs, and several fence and yard feature jobs. We have been very busy, despite being new and short staffed. We are very grateful and we daily thank the one who has made this possible.
