The Carrollton Senior Center is looking to hire a part time Assistant Cook to work Monday-Friday 8 am-1pm. If you would like to apply you can do that online at www.carrolltonga.com/job/assistant-cook-parks-recreation/
The Carrollton Senior Center will open on April 1 from 8 AM until 4 PM. We will be offering inside dining as well as continuing outside drive-through pick up meals for members. Call between 8am and 10:30 AM to reserve your lunch. Each day, Monday- Friday, inside dining will be at 12 PM and drive-through will be from 12:05 until 12:15 PM. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Last Friday staff celebrated the Super Bowl by handing out the Souper Bowl lunches in the drive through lunch line. These lunches are still available Monday through Friday for $2 to members of the Carrollton Senior Center. Call 770-832-1644 to reserve your lunch between 8am and 10:30 AM each day that you want to eat. Pick up is between 12 PM and 12:15 PM. We look forward to serving you soon!
Thank you Michael McDowell for being a Santa Cop and helping deliver Christmas lunches yesterday and to Shane North for helping today. Our drive through meal program will start again on January 4th. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Thank you so much to the Community Foundation of West Georgia- Power of the Purse Grant and the West Georgia Council on Aging for sponsoring Art in the Park this week for our seniors. Also, thanks to Jill Eidson with Truth Be Told Art for teaching them. They loved it!
It was great to have the Senior Center re-opened today!
The Carrollton Senior Center will reopen on Monday October 12th and the hours will be 10am-3pm. Masks are required to be worn while in the facility. There will be tempature checks and medical questions asked upon entry. Drive through meals will continue and we will also offer congregate (dine-in) meals again. The Fitness Center in the Bonner Building will reopen as well and the hours will be 6am-11am. We look forward to seeing those that choose to come but also want to remain as safe as possible.
Attention Senior Center members: If you would like to join us this Wednesday, September 30 to go fishing at a local lake give us a call at 770-832-1644. We will give you the details and register you. You must bring all of your own supplies.
The Carrollton Senior Center is looking to hire a part-time assistant cook. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Salary is based on experience. You can apply for the job on the City of Carrollton website.
For a limited time we will be offering call-in technology help. If you would like assistance over the phone with one of your devices you can call the Senior Center at 770-832-1644 on Mondays between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM. We have a UWG intern on Monday mornings that will be happy to try to help you.
The Carrollton Senior Center will start back the senior water aerobics class on Friday, October 2nd at Lakeshore Natatorium. This class will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2 to 3 PM. There is a annual $20 senior center membership fee required (renewed every July) and it is $20 per two month session. We would love to have you join us! Call (770) 832-1644 for more information.

Any member that wants to join us today at 2pm for call-in BINGO can stop by the Senior Center to pick up your BINGO card and marker beans. Call us at (770) 832-1644 and we will bring it to your car. Or, if you have reserved a lunch we can give it to you when pick up your meal.
If you would like to participate in a free call-in singing this morning at 11am call (720) 740-9715 with access code 6477594#. Make sure to mute your phone, unless told otherwise, so that we can all hear the call and not background noise from everybody.
