It’s Mystery Reader Tuesday! Can you read with expression? Mrs. Shell, this week’s Mystery Reader, sure can! Listen as she shares Room on the Broom, by Julia Donaldson. Can you imagine seeing a witch on a broom flying through the night sky, along with a cat , dog , bird , and frog ?!? After listening to this fun Halloween story, try to retell the order of the animals joining the witch on her broom.
Mrs. Greenberg’s Measy Hanukkah by Linda Glaser is shared by this week’s Mystery Reader, Mrs. Bills. We wish you lots of latkes of love this Hanukkah season!

For those approved for face to face instruction, prek-2nd grade will begin face to face instruction on Monday, Nov. 9. 3rd-5th graders who are approved for face to face instruction will begin on Nov. 16. Face to face instruction will be four days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesdays will continue to be a virtual learning day; students will continue to learn from home on this day. This will allow teachers time to prepare lessons for virtual students and time for staff to clean the buildings midweek.
Ms. Grayer is this week’s Mystery Reader! Listen as she shares one of her favorite books, The Little Old Man Who Could Not Read, by Irma Simonton Black. Can you imagine never learning to read? What would it feel like? Think about all the places you go and things you do that require reading! Think about just how important reading truly is...what a gift to give yourself!
We are so grateful for Kroger donating a generous Kroger gift card to our school which was delivered by Mr. Timmerman. We would also like the thank the Cherry Blossom Festival for their gift of Cherry Blossom pins.
