Our Homeward Bound Pet of the week is Rango! .... Rango, that’s me, although I think I’m more a Capone or Bugsy type, ya’ know what I mean? Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m what they call a terrier mix, whatever that is. I’m a good-sized guy, about 52 pounds, and I know my way around. I’ve learned a lot in 3 years, and I’ve been on my own for a while and let me tell you, the street ain’t no place to be. Here at this place they call Homeward Bound, they treat me real... good. Food when I’m hungry, walks when I need to...uhh, you know, and some cute dames to rub my head and play with me and sometimes let me sneak a kiss. I’m a real Casanova, I am. They even try to test me, but I’m too smart for them. I do everything they say, even though it’s kind of dumb, like Sit, Down, Stay and stuff like that. Makes them happy, don’t know why. Go figure. I like to play and run around for sure, and have lots of energy, so even though it’s pretty nice here in this joint, I could really use my own crib. Ya’ know, someplace to put my feet up at night next to a special friend who hangs with me, and has fun playing and walking with me. All I know is, I’ll be at this Brewery place on Wednesday March 31st, 3 to 5PM they say, so it’s in your best interest to be there and see ME. That guy Tobias might have been smart to get himself adopted, but he shouda’ waited until after he went to the brewery, is all I’m sayin’. Why miss a chance to have all those people pettin’ you and sayin’ you’re a great guy, and how handsome you are. I know it of course but doesn’t mean I don’t like hearin’ it. Cartecay River Brewing Company and Homeward Bound Pet Rescue are happy to announce the return of the Pet of the Week! After a winter hiatus, we will be back Wednesday March 24th from 3 to 5 PM. ... This year, instead of a dollar for every beer purchased during Happy Hour going to benefit the rescue, we have come up with a new way to benefit our animals. You may have noticed Puppers Pale Ale on the menu for a couple weeks now. For every purchase of this beer, a dollar will be ...donated to Homeward Bound, not just during Homeward Bound’s Wednesday Yappy Hour, but all day every day! ... Our first featured pup of the new year is Bentley! As the name implies, he is a luxury dog, made for cruising, or walking, or hugging, or just playing around. The Super Bowl matchup is set and we’re ready to watch it! As we did last year we will be doing a super bowl party, and this year we have @off_road_grill doing wings and burgers!
