It is with breaking hearts that we share the loss of one of our dear friends. Shawnita Boston Larson was struck by a vehicle on 1/23/2021 & passed away on 1/27/2021. We mourn with her family & our community. Fly high, baby girl...your wings are fully mended!

It was December 30th, and we had just experienced a power outage. I texted one of my friends that used to live behind a Chinese Buffet on Fulton Industrial Blvd. After telling her of the outage, and she said, "There are still so many living on the streets, in the cold, without power." Her heart is ever towards those still struggling. As we enter this new year, may we be thankful for our blessings but vigilant to keep pushing for those on the margins. Happy New Year.
