Congratulations to the following Cedar students who have been selected to receive an Athens Area Human Relations Council, Inc. (AAHRC) scholarship: Amber Haynes, William Fang, Evan Durden, TyKerius Monford, Mounina Ba, Devin Watkins, Aminata Ba These students will be recognized virtually at the 42nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Awards Banquet.

EOC Update: End Of Course winter testing has been moved to the February mid-month window (February 8 - February 19). The exact dates will be determined in the near future. We will follow up with additional details as they become available. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

FOOTBALL INTEREST MEETING There will be an interest meeting on Tuesday, Jan 12th at 3:30 PM in the field house for the 2021 football season. Anyone not currently participating in a sport will need to attend as there will be a lot of very important information given out regarding the off season program. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a very special football team in 2021. All COVID protocols will be in effect during the meeting. Please bring a mask and be prepared to socially distance! #OneCedar

Students will have the opportunity to return AP textbooks from first semester courses on Monday, January 11. Staff will be in the bus loop collecting books from 11 AM - 1 PM and 5 PM - 6:30 PM.

BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS JV and Varsity tryouts will be held next Monday and Tuesday, 10-26 and 10-27 in the CSHS New Gym from 5:45 - 7:45 9th Grade Tryouts will be next Wednesday and Thursday, 10-28 and 10-29 in the CSHS Old Gym from 5:00 - 7:00. ... You must have a current physical to tryouts. THERE WILL BE NO LATE TRYOUTS!!!!! IF YOU DO NOT COME ON WEDNESDAY, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRY OUT!!!! Please bring a mask. If you are currently in another sport, there will be a different try out date for you.
