Our Ministry of the month for December are two faith based missionaries serving with Adventures in missions on The World Race. We shared the other day about Stephanie and today we are featuring Megan Parham! Megan has been a full time missionary with Adventures in Missions since 2012 serving on The World Race, an 11 month mission trip that (typically) goes to 11 different countries. This year, due to COVID, things have looked much different, but we have adjusted and the mis...sion has remained the same through it all: to make Christ known! We have still been running short term domestic programs and just recently launched our first World Race squad of 2020! G-squad launched in October and will be serving in Chicago and Wisconsin until they are cleared to launch internationally. I have the privilege of mentoring and discipling them for the next year (until October 2021). I also set up all of their ministry assignments, travel plans, train and develop leaders, manage their budgets, and arrange their lodging and other logistical tasks throughout the whole year. As of right now, we are gearing up for the international launch of 8 other squads in January going to Guatemala, Cost Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Ecuador. Please pray for us as we carefully navigate the details involved with sending people overseas in 2021! If we cannot do this, we will continue strengthening our domestic partnerships here in the US! Today and tomorrow we are featuring specific bios about Megan Parham and Stephanie Hardy who are faith based missionaries. Check it out! Stephanie launched on the World Race this October as a part of Megan’s squad (G-squad) for the next 11 months. Her group spent the first month in Chicago pa...rtnering with Park Community Church, South Asian Friendship Center, and World Relief Chicago doing outreach predominantly with refugees in the area. While building relationships within her own team, they actively formed relationships with the locals in Chicago. For the remainder of the year, her squad is in the Wisconsin Dells area partnering with the Beyond Blessed Food Pantry and Bella Goose Coffee to support their ongoing ministries. They just recently packed and delivered over 500 meals for the Thanksgiving holiday! Stephanie and her squad actively invest in their community as they experience the Love of Jesus. See more
