Central Georgia Greek Festival

It is with heavy hearts that Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church announces the 13th Annual Central Georgia Greek Festival has been cancelled. The festival chairmen have met several times throughout the past months to determine what is best, not only for our parishioners, but the community of Central Georgia as well. Please know this decision was not taken lightly. We were hoping that we would be able to continue this year with a Drive-Thru; however, with the uncertainty of COVID, we have decided that cancelling is the best option. We thank everyone for their support as the festival has grown over the last 12 years. We look forward to 2021 when we hope to be back to share our food, faith and Holy Cross Family!

Since our 13th Annual Central Georgia Greek Festival was cancelled, we are helping our community in a different way. Help us help MIDDLE GEORGIA FOOD BANK. Drop off your dry food items. Simply drive up to the church and we will take it out of your car for you. See you tomorrow!

Thank you Central Georgia! The Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society collected 552 pounds of dry food to donate to Middle Georgia Food Bank. That will feed... 460 people! Next Drive Thru & Drop Off Food Drive will be October 25th (12pm-1pm) in place of our Annual Greek Festival. Since our festival was cancelled, we are choosing to do something else to support our community. Please join Philoptochos and support the Drive-Thru & Drop-Off Food Drive on Sunday, September 13th (12-1pm).
