Meet Rick Thompson and Lisa Brasher of Champions Place, built by the Champions Community Foundation! Lisa is the Resident Coordinator. Rick is the Executive Di...rector of the Champions Community Foundation and has devoted the last 6 years to the mission and opening of Champions Place. And now it has come to fruition. Congrats! We love their mission to "play a meaningful role in the lives of physically challenged young adults in the greater Atlanta area and beyond"! You all are doing so much good giving back to our community. Thank you for all you do. Check out Champions Place on the Giving Back page of the latest edition of North Atlanta FitLife! See more

Kylie Moore has been awarded the 2020 Tom Miller Advocacy Award, a national award recognizing a person with a significant disability who has demonstrated outstanding and remarkable passion for self-advocacy on a local or national level. None of this is a surprise to all of us at Champions Community Foundation where Kylie serves as a leader within the group of physically challenged young adults we serve. We're excited that this soon-to-be resident of Champions Place has been recognized for her leadership and passion to help others! Congratulations, Kylie!
