Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 2:00 P.M., from the mausoleum chapel of Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Stewart was born in Decatur, Alabama, on August 3, 1926, to the late William Henry and Irene Jessie Rogers Stewart. He was a World War II Veteran of the Pacific Theater having served in the... U.S. Army. He had retired as a Pipefitter from S.R.S and had been a faithful member of the Richmond Hill Road Church of Christ. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents and wife Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Tommy Stewart. Coash and Pearl Coash, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He retired a 20 year veteran of the United States Army, and served during... the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Fleming Masonic Lodge #718 for 50 years, and of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. He worked in Civil Service at Dwight D. Eisenhower Medical Center for 21 years on the orthopedic floor before retiring. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church, and was a avid sculptor and wood-worker. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Beverly Coash, Jerry Coash, and Janet Gregorson. He is survived by his children, Sandra C. Coshatt (Billy), Jeanie C. Rogers (Pat), and Janice C. Whitaker (Larry); his grandchildren, Robert G. Mr. Sweeney, a native and ...lifelong resident of Augusta, and unofficial self proclaimed, "Mayor of McBean", was the son of the late George Sweeney and Margaret Birchfield. He was baptized at Hillcrest Baptist Church and was a graduate of Butler High School in 1976. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, work on the farm, and ride his horses. He enjoyed making people laugh, dressing up like Santa and riding his horse KW around the neighborhood. Mr. Sweeney was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Sweeney; and his siblings, Shannon Newsom and David Sweeney.
