To Miss Manci- we could not be prouder of the person you have become and to watch you begin as a toddler and transform into the beautiful young woman you are, has truly been a privilege. Your future is so bright! We love you!!

I hope that this message finds everyone doing well! I wanted to reach out with an update. I am sad to say that we are unable to restart classes on the 13th as I had hoped. The Governor's stay at home order will last until at least April 30th. So, unfortunately, we will need to wait until then to plan our next steps. I had hoped to do some type of live class this month but that had to be put on hold also as my staff is not allowed to gather in the studio since we are no...t an essential business. As the end of April approaches, we hope there will be better news which will help us make a firm plan to begin classes again. I miss you all and I am eager to start as soon as we are allowed and it is safe. The exact dates are unknown at this time, but we ARE going to have our recital. Right now my plan is to do it in the fall after we’ve had a chance to get back in the studio and practice. Again, the timing depends on when we can hold classes again. My hope right now is for everyone to stay safe, healthy and of course to keep practicing with your cds. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! Miss Charlotte

I hope this message finds you all healthy and doing well during this uncertain and difficult situation as we wait out this virus. We are uncertain right now as to when classes will start back up but we will keep you informed through emails and facebook. Our local schools will be out until at least April 13th so we are following their lead right now. If you have your recital music, keep practicing. There will be a recital. We are uncertain of the date but we will keep you informed as we get more information.

At Charlotte's School of Dance our students' safety is our top priority. We believe that following the direction that our surrounding schools are taking is our best course of action. Accordingly, there will be no dance classes for the next two weeks beginning March 16th through March 27th. We will keep you updated as the situation evolves. If you received your recital music last week, please continue to practice on your own for the next two weeks. We understand the growing concern surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19) across our communities, and our hearts go out to all those who've been impacted.

Hello Charlotte's School of Dance. I am Thommie Retter from the Broadway show Billy Elliot The Musical. I am a choreographer and teacher on Broadway currently living in New York City. Recently, I had the honor of working with one of their students, Manci McMullan, in New York. It was a joy to work with such a talented dancer; and her talents all made sense once I realized she is an Al Gilbert trained dancer. This tap and ballet technique system remains the number one system... in America. I am an Al Gilbert tap dancer and can tell you firsthand that it works. I just received an email letting me know that Charlotte’s School of Dance has won the 2020 Readers’ Choice Award again this year. I want to thank everyone for all your support and votes in making this happen. Look for the official announcement in the Walton Tribune sometime in March.

Welcome back! Hope everyone had a great time over the holidays. Just a quick reminder Saturday classes this month will be on January 11th and January 25th. See you there!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS We are out for the Christmas Holidays from Monday, December 23rd and returning the week of January 6th. Have a great holiday!

The studio will be closed next week, Nov 25th - Nov 29th, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving! Classes will resume Monday, December 2nd.
