We are looking for volunteers to help provide your kids and the kids of Chatham County the best experience in the area. We are the only League for ages 4-12 in Chatham County that allow anyone to play regardless of experience level. If you can volunteer a few hours or want to be more involved we are looking to add to our staff of volunteers. The zoom link for next weeks meeting is on the comments. Good Afternoon Little League Family! As you're aware the effects of COVID-19 on our area have prevented us from being able to safely host a 2020 season. This is a very heartbreaking and unfortunate situation, however it does allow us time to regroup and come back stronger as One Little League. We understand COVID-19 has taken a financial strain on many of our families which is why we are offering refunds to our families who wish to receive one, those families who prefer to ...have their dues applied to the Spring 2021 season don't need to do anything! If you wish to receive a refund please go to: https://forms.gle/ximXfKRJQgYyqNfh9 or click the link below to complete the request form. Refund requests will be accepted until October 15, 2020 after that time fees will be transferred to the 2021 Season. Moving forward, October will bring Board Elections! If you or someone you know would be interested in running for a Board Position, all positions are up for re-election and we welcome any and all nominations! You can submit a nomination or intent to run by emailing [email protected]. We will put out more information about Election Night as the time draws near. Spring will bring a new season for baseball and softball - we are in need of coaches who can commit to our program! If you're interested in coaching please reach out to [email protected] to be put in touch with the appropriate coordinator for your division. We hope everyone is learning to embrace our new normal, we miss seeing our ball players at the parks and are looking forward to seeing them all again soon!

If you have not received your refund check please make sure you did not receive an electronic refund on the card you used for registration (these would have been processed February-May) if you did not receive a digital refund or a check please send an email to [email protected] so we can make sure a check is mailed out to you.

In an effort to accommodate our families and community members this meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. Information for accessing the Zoom meeting can be found below. Parents/Guardians: we are receiving a lot of requests for information regarding refunds. If you requested a refund using the Google Forms request after the initial season delay those checks have been mailed out. As mentioned during our community Zoom meeting on August 10 - All other participants will receive information regarding refunds once funds have been returned to Chatham County Little League by our vendors. We do not have the funds readily available to refund all of our families but we can assure you that we are working very diligently to make sure we are able to return those monies to our families. We kindly ask for your patience during this process as we are at the mercy of our vendors at this point.

CCLL Families The Board of Directors in partnership with Chatham County Parks & Recreation and local leaders has made the very tough decision to cancel the Spring/Summer 2020 season. This decision was not reached without a lot of deep discussions and exploring every avenue of possible play while abiding by all guidelines set forth by Local, State and National leaders. As the effects of COVID-19 grow across our area we must put the absolute health and safety of the athletes we...’re entrusted with above popular opinion. This decision goes beyond a few social distancing guidelines - the recent mask mandate that affects one of our parks poses a series threat to the safety of our players, volunteers and spectators especially in July & August in Savannah. As much as anyone your Board is extremely disappointed that we will not get to play this season. A lot of hard work and dedication by our team has gone in to making this the best season yet and to see that work derailed by something completely beyond our control is heart wrenching. This time of the year just isn’t the same without hearing play ball but we are dedicated to ensuring player health & safety.

Thank you to our coaches for an awesome meeting this evening! We are prepared and excited to get back on the field in July. Parents: please note that you may receive some emails throughout the next two weeks regarding roster changes. We have some coaches and players who are unable to participate and a few new players to add so we will be making roster changes. We are also looking for coaches for a number of teams in all divisions! If you would be willing to help out please let us know!!

Parents: Reminder that today is the deadline for refunds and/or account credits. If we do not receive a request from you your child will be placed on a roster to play beginning July 13. Request forms were attached to the last email correspondence from the league. *No requests will be accepted after 11:59PM*
